The graphic overlay materials have a relatively high dielectric strength and high volume resistivity. An extra layer, can be incorporated between the graphic and the upper circuit. This layer facilitates the cancellation or dissipation of electrostatic build up on a person's finger. Electrostatic discharge can interfere with or damage sensitive electronic components. Grounding can be accomplished with a separate tail or using the same connector as the circuitry. Alternatively a grounding tab can be created for connecting to a metal backing plate or support panel.
